My Entrelac Vest

Here is a picture of my first entrelac vest- Prism Cool Stuff-Tumbleweeds colorway.

I was really pleased with how it turned out!

My First Entry

Well, I decided to "bite the bullet" and create a blog! Of course, I had to put the babies picture on it! Then, I decided to include a picture of my vest- Iget soooo many complements every time I wear it! I went ahead and made another one in the Antique colorway- off-white, golds, bronze, etc. I haven't had a chance to wear it, yet.

Now I am working, grrr on a short sleeve top with Noro silk. This pattern is driving me bonkers! It has a kind of chevron pattern to create a design and edge- it's really cool because the pattern also creates the neckline and chevron shape on the sleeve. The only thing is it's tricky because you have to M1, slip 1 (thread on back) then M1- you know the right and left slanty thing- what makes it tricky is it is done on the purl side (which is actually the right side)-clear as mud, right!! Well, after I don't know how many redo's and trips to the LYS store for HELP, I think I have finally mastered it!The back is done and I am working on the front. Will post pictures when I get it done!
